Hil, Mur, Cerić, Ivanić, Raguž and many others paid tribute to Tihić

The coffin with the body of Sulejman Tihić, President of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA), was displayed this morning from nine o'clock in the hall of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, reports the reporter of the BH News Agency Patria (NAP).

The coffin with Tihić's body remained there until 11 o'clock. Honor guards alternated beside the coffin, and then a commemoration was held in the large hall of the Parliamentary Assembly.

The first honor guard, beside the coffin with the body of the deceased Tihić, consisted of Bakir Izetbegović, Safet Softić, Halid Genjac, Šefik Džaferović, Asim Sarajlić, and Adil Osmanović. After them, state, entity, cantonal, and municipal officials took turns in the honor guard. At the same time, a book of condolences was opened in the Grand Hall of the PA BiH. Members of the Honor Guard of the Armed Forces of BiH are also present beside the coffin.

The funeral prayer in Sarajevo was held at 12 o'clock on the plateau in front of the Parliament building, and it was led by the reisu-l-ulema of the Islamic Community of BiH, Husein ef. Kavazović.

After the funeral prayer in Sarajevo, Tihić's body was transported to Bosanski Šamac, where the funeral prayer will be held at 16:10 and burial will take place in the courtyard of the White Mosque, writes NAP.
