HDZ 1990 the only party to have submitted an application for elections so far

So far, only the HDZ 1990 party has submitted a candidacy for the October General Elections to the Central Election Commission of BiH, confirmed the CEC spokesperson Maksida Pirić for the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

The application of political parties and independent candidates to the CEC for the upcoming General Elections in BiH began on May 15 and will last until May 30. To date, slightly more than 90 political parties and independent candidates have taken the application documentation. So far, HDZ 1990 is the only political party that has applied.

- It has become customary for everyone to wait until the last day for applications. This year, we appealed to political parties and independent candidates to at least announce the date when they will submit their applications so as to avoid large crowds – Pirić told NAP.
