Hasib Mahmić 'Ljuti Krajišnici' will never forget

In the village of Mahmići near Cazin, headstones were placed today on the grave of Hasib Mahmić „Ljuti Krajišnik“, a passionate supporter of our Dragons, who tragically lost his life last year while returning from Kaunas, Lithuania, where the Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team played a decisive match for qualification to the World Cup, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

In the accident, besides Hasib, Vildan Pehlić and Almir Kasumović also lost their lives.

In Hasib's birthplace, a playground is being built that will bear the name of this „hero from the stands“.

In addition to family members, friends and a large number of members of the fan group „Ljuti Krajišnici“ attended the placement of the headstones.
