Hasanović calls out Ramić: In whose name did you negotiate the return of our children to schools in Podrinje?

Esad Hasanović, president of the Democratic Front of Zvornik and one of the parents whose child boycotted classes in this town, tells the Patria news agency that the issue of the Bosnian language in schools for returnee children has not been resolved.

-This is confirmed by the statement of the mayor of Zvornik, Zoran Stevanović, as well as by the parents of the children, who say that the children attend classes on the condition that the language name is not written in the rubric. That is a rare humiliation. Despite this, the SDA continues to spread untruths to the public in order to cover up their incompetence, says Hasanović.

Probably the best illustration, as he says, of the SDA's demagoguery are the statements of the federal minister for displaced persons and refugees, Edin Ramić, "who is now shedding crocodile tears over only eight percent of non-Serb students in schools in the RS."

- Who is to blame for that? Can Ramić recall a single one of his predecessors who was not from the SDA. The SDA has sovereignly ruled that department since 1995, and now when it capitulates on such a fundamental issue as the name of the language, it tries to share responsibility with others.

Finally, before he is taken seriously on this topic, Edin Ramić must also answer one basic question: what is the name and where is the school that his children attend?

Our position is clear, there can be no negotiations or bargaining over language and that will remain so. Ramić and Nedim Čivić negotiated in their own name or in the name of the SDA, without a mandate from the other parties that make up the Homeland, and I expect them to readily accept responsibility for the consequences, and we will see them already at the end of this school year when schools in Podrinje begin entering "Bosniak" or "Serbian" in the language rubric of the report cards and certificates of returnee students, Hasanović concludes.
