Hartmann publishes book "The Blood of Realpolitik - The Srebrenica Affair"

Former Le Monde journalist Florence Hartmann has published the book "The Blood of Realpolitik - The Srebrenica Affair", in which she blames the great powers for the fall of Srebrenica in 1995, when Serbian soldiers and police killed more than 8,000 Bosniaks, including a large number of children, women, and the elderly and infirm, writes the BH News Agency Patria.

Hartmann, who as a journalist on the ground followed the events that preceded the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the course of the war itself, and also worked as a spokesperson and advisor to the prosecutor at the International Tribunals for the former Yugoslavia and Rwanda, blames the great powers, particularly France, Great Britain, and the United States, for contributing to the fall of Srebrenica and for the genocide unfolding before their eyes.

Hartmann said today at a press conference in Sarajevo that the book discusses how some people, in their desire to achieve their goals as quickly as possible, behave inhumanely. Not because they are inhumane, but because in their desire to achieve their goals, the human dimension disappears in some people. She expressed hope that many will learn a lesson from the book. The book is published by "Boybook", and the book promotion is announced for Monday in Sarajevo, writes NAP.
