Chaos at the CEC: Recount of votes from 121 polling stations

The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina at today's session made a decision ordering the counting of ballots from 59 polling stations. The counting began today at 4:00 PM in the Main Counting Center in Sarajevo in the presence of election observers, announced the CEC of BiH, as reported by the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The order came after the chief controller for processing, entry and confirmation of voting results for the 2014 General Elections submitted a report to the Central Election Commission of BiH according to which it is not possible to verify the election results at these polling stations from the summary form prepared by the polling boards.

Accredited observers of political entities for the polling stations from which the counting is being conducted, including those political entities appearing on the ballot being counted, as well as accredited observers for the Main Counting Center, may attend the said counting of ballots.

Given that several decisions on recounting ballots have been made in the last few days, the Patria agency is compiling a list based on CEC data.

2. October 21 - decision on recount from 12 polling stations

3. October 22 - decision on recount from 17 polling stations

4. October 23 - decision on recount from 14 polling stations

5. October 24 - decision on recount from 59 stations
