Hamid Hadžić: It's not easy to ask for money, but I am forced to beg for help

Twenty-seven-year-old Hamid Hadžić from Kakanj has dedicated a decade of his life to active work, as a useful member of the social community, as a visual artist, journalist and humanist, a volunteer for numerous organizations. He was a member and founder of several youth organizations.

By writing for newspapers, magazines and portals, he promoted his city, as well as other Bosnian cities, and helped in the affirmation of many artists. His successful career, unfortunately, was interrupted by an accident that occurred in 2011. Namely, while doing hard jobs in a company, because few people can live off art in our country, he severely injured his eye.

He has had seven surgeries so far. After the one in October 2013, there were visible improvements, but doctors told him that he must have an eighth surgery these days, for which it is necessary to set aside 12,000 KM because it can only be performed in Belgium.
 

A call to good and humane people

- For my wife and me, who are unemployed, this amount is too large. We also have two sons, three-year-old Adin and Ajdin, who is five and a half years old. When I was healthy, I helped, among others, the sick and the poor, and now, unfortunately, I need help. It's not easy to ask, because I always preferred to give rather than take. Through this, I call on all good and humane people from home and abroad to help me. I thank everyone in advance sincerely - says Hamid Hadžić.
