
Swedish young footballer Mirza Halvadžić and defender Jadranko Bogičević have signed contracts with FK Željezničar, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.
Mirza Halvadžić was born on 15 February 1996 in Lund. He went through the youth academy of Malmo, and then moved to the current Swedish champion Norrkoping. He spent the last half-season on loan at Trellborgs.
Halvadžić has had phenomenal performances for the younger selections of Sweden. For the U-17 selection, he played 31 matches and scored four goals, and at the FIFA U-17 World Cup, he won third place with his national team. For the U-19 selection, he appeared 12 times and scored three goals. Mirza plays on both wing positions and signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Blues, and will wear the jersey with number 17. Halvadžić joins the team on Saturday.
Today, our team was also strengthened by experienced defender Jadranko Bogičević. Jadranko was born on 11 March 1983 in Vlasenica. In his career so far, he has played for Jedinstvo Brčko, Rudar Ugljevik, Crvena zvezda, Borac, Modriča, Ironi Nir Ramat, Olimpic, and our Željezničar. In the period from 2010 to 2013, he played 87 matches for Želja and scored six goals.
Bogičević signed for two years and has already joined the team.
