The new coach of the Japanese football team Vahid Halilhodžić arrived in Japan today, where he was met by numerous news teams at Narita Airport, writes the BiH news agency Patria.
Halilhodžić said at a press conference broadcast by the state television that he arrived full of enthusiasm, but that he feels a responsibility towards the country where he will lead the national team.
- My first qualification should be the World Cup in Russia in 2018 - said the 62-year-old Halilhodžić.
Japanese media write that he was born in BiH, but that he is also a citizen of France, and he spoke in French during the conference.
