Halilhodžić has not definitively said no, negotiations continue

Around 7:00 PM, a meeting began between Vahid Halilhodžić and the delegation of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, led by Dino Begić, at the "Jež" restaurant in Makarska regarding the position of the head coach of the Bosnian national team, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

As we unofficially learn, the negotiations were difficult, but Halilhodžić did not give a final no to the Association officials. Negotiations will continue as early as this weekend, but the chances of Halilhodžić taking over the Dragons remain low.

 

Vahid Halilhodžić is the most serious candidate for the new head coach of the Bosnia and Herzegovina football team, and the newly formed commission will have its work cut out, as Halilhodžić previously stated that it would be difficult for him to take over the Bosnian bench. Nevertheless, the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, led by President Dino Begić, is not giving up on this idea, and talks will continue.

Only if negotiations with Halilhodžić do not bear fruit will the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina turn to other candidates, so it should come as no surprise that none of the candidates have been contacted yet.
