Hakuna matata: Tegeltija in Zanzibar while MPs debate the work of the HJPC

(Patria) - State parliamentarians strongly criticised the absence of the President of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milan Tegeltija, from today's session of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where reports of the HJPC BiH for 2017 and 2018 were being discussed.

SDS representative Dragan Mektić requested that the HJPC BiH reports be removed from the agenda due to Tegeltija's absence from the session.

He stated that Tegeltija does not respect the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina and that there is no point in parliamentarians debating the HJPC when the president of this judicial institution is not present at the session.

Searching Tegeltija's Facebook profile, it is evident that he is on vacation in Zanzibar with his wife, about which he boasted by posting a photo from this exotic resort. He described the photo with the words Hakuna matata, which translates to - life without rules, responsibilities and worries.
