Hadžikadić: Politics in Bosnia and Herzegovina is a mirror of ourselves

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The President of the Platform for Progress and presidential candidate in the previous elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mirsad Hadžikadić, said that politics in Bosnia and Herzegovina is „a mirror of ourselves.“

"We have the state we deserve, we have the politics we deserve“, Hadžikadić said for N1 Television, speaking about the political situation in BiH.

He believes that the problem in Bosnia and Herzegovina is apathy among people, because, he stated, „people think that nothing can be changed.“ 

„The solution is accepting responsibility for the state“, Hadžikadić said.

„The basic problem is the need to change social consciousness... We must change that, each person should look in the mirror and ask: Did I give everything I could to this state? A huge percentage of us could say that we did not“, said Hadžikadić, adding that people find justification in the fact that they could not, that they were not allowed, that they sold out to daily politics, sit and wait for changes on the couch, watch TV and criticize everything around them.

„In the long run, for all that to change, the key is education“, said Professor Hadžikadić.
