Yesterday, at the initiative of Reis-ul-ulema Husein ef. Kavazović, a funeral prayer in absentia was performed for the late Sulejman Tihić, long-time president of the SDA party and former Bosniak member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, reports Patria.
The funeral prayer, performed by our hajji pilgrims who are in Medina, was led by the Head of the Hajj Office, Nezim Halilović Muderis, who stated in an interview for MINA that this was a way to show respect for a man who made a great contribution to the affirmation of both the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Bosniaks as a nation.
