Bosnia and Herzegovina Hajj pilgrims depart Medina for Mecca

The first group of Hajj pilgrims from Bosnia and Herzegovina departed from Medina for Mecca this morning. This group includes pilgrims from the first four flights, and their arrival in Mecca is expected tonight, MINA reports, as relayed by the Patria agency.

Upon arrival in Mecca, the pilgrims will be accommodated in hotels, and around midnight, together with their guides, they will perform Tawaf and Sa'i and shed their ihrams.

- The pilgrims from the first four flights are currently boarding buses. After each bus is filled, they will depart for Mecca. Pilgrims from the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth flights will depart tomorrow, God willing, starting at 10:00 AM, they will begin boarding buses, and they will hurry to get to Mecca as soon as possible so they can perform Umrah on time. This, of course, applies to healthy pilgrims, while for sick pilgrims, we will arrange a special Umrah, God willing.

The feelings of our pilgrims here are special, and in a way, divided. I see that the pilgrims are sad to leave Medina, because here in Medina, in the city of the Prophet (peace be upon him), there were no Hajj rituals and no difficulties. Everything was somewhat relaxing, and they enjoyed their worship. Of course, they were happy to perform all prayers in the Prophet's (peace be upon him) mosque, but now comes the most important part, which is performing Umrah and Hajj, and of course, all pilgrims are eager to see the Kaaba, or rather, to see Mecca, especially those doing it for the first time.

I ask Almighty Allah to make this journey easier for all our pilgrims and for all of us in charge of this year's organization, God willing, and to easily complete this journey of Hijrah that the Prophet (peace be upon him) undertook during the Hijrah, but also afterwards, in the 8th year after Hijrah, when returning to Mecca on foot and with great effort. We, thank Almighty Allah, are traveling in comfortable buses that we have provided for our pilgrims this year, and I hope that the journey will be, God willing, easy and comfortable, and that by tomorrow we will have our entire group of pilgrims accommodated in the hotel - said Nezim Halilović, head of the Hajj Office, during the departure of our pilgrims from Medina.

The departure of the remaining pilgrims from Medina to Mecca is planned for tomorrow at the same times as today.
