Hajis are staying on the Arafat plateau

This year's pilgrims from all over the world, numbering around 2 million, have started gathering on the Arafat plateau since the early morning hours, including 1405 pilgrims from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Staying on Arafat is the central pilgrimage ritual and the main component of the Hajj rites. "Hajj is Arafat," said the Prophet, peace be upon him, regarding the stay on this plateau on the 9th day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the day before Eid al-Adha.

This year's pilgrims from Bosnia and Herzegovina began gathering on Arafat last night, where they will stay throughout today. During their stay on Arafat, a joint lecture, socializing, and recitation of the Quran and ilahis will be organized for our pilgrims, and a joint Arafat supplication will be recited at the end of their stay on Arafat.

As part of the Arafat program, hafizes among this year's pilgrims recited Ashar at the beginning. Then, the pilgrims were addressed by the Ambassador of BiH to Kuwait, Mehmed Halilović, followed by the coordinator of guides, Izet ef. Čamdžić, the head of the Hajj Office, Nezim Halilović muderis, and this year's Rais al-Hujjaj, Tuzla Mufti Vahid ef. Fazlović, while our imams enhanced the Arafat atmosphere with their melodious voices by reciting ilahis.

The stay on Arafat will conclude with the recitation of the Arafat supplication in the evening, after which the pilgrims will head to Muzdalifah, where they will spend part of the night, and on the first day of Eid al-Adha, the pilgrims will proceed to Mina to throw pebbles.
