Hadžidedić: Murphy is a disgrace to the US; if he said in his country that a verdict should be negotiated, they would send him for observation!

(Patria) - Professor Zlatko Hadžidedić, a guest on Face TV, commented, among other things, on the developments following the verdict of the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, which Slaven Kovačević won against Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"If the rule of law prevailed in this country, if the foreign factor respected the law, it would be a historic step. It is a definitive confirmation that Dayton is not in line with the constitutions of other countries in the world, primarily European ones, that this civic principle exists everywhere since the French and American revolutions, everywhere except in BiH.

That verdict confirms it. Fortunately, it also confirms that there is some kind of independent judiciary, regardless of Europe, which is what it is. There is expertise, which ultimately says this cannot go on like this, it must return to the principles that exist everywhere in the world, and that is that sovereignty belongs to the citizen and is transferred to the state by the will of the citizens. And some kind of ethnic sovereignty does not exist anywhere.

It does not exist in Belgium or Switzerland. They are misleading us again with stories. We want every such constitution, because those constitutions are also civic. In Belgium, everyone is Belgian, as in Switzerland.
Only here it is not possible. This is a historic verdict, but we immediately had a reaction, and I don't care about Dodik and Čović, but the reaction of the American Embassy says that after the verdict was delivered, we should now negotiate and reach a compromise and consensus. For it to be implemented, we must negotiate again.

You know, if Ambassador Murphy had said that in his own country, that a delivered verdict should be negotiated, they would have sent him for observation. Not to remove him from all positions, but to send him for observation. Court verdicts are not negotiated, that does not exist anywhere in the world, but here they are forcing us to negotiate now.

When a court verdict is delivered, the legislative authority should translate it into law, and the executive authority should apply it throughout the territory. That is their task, not to sit down and negotiate.

And the US ambassador says that everything that was valid in 1776 when their constitution was created should not be valid in BiH. I think that Ambassador Murphy is a great disgrace to the US, and it would be wise for them to consider the possibility of recalling him, because with one statement he has ridiculed the fundamental principles on which the constitution of his country is based," said Hadžidedić.
