Hadžić: It has been shown that Radončić is not the solution for BiH!

Bosnia and Herzegovina needs governments in which there will be no place for those who abused the justified rebellion of citizens and on February 7 and 8 wanted to implement a black scenario for this part of the country, said in an interview for the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP), Damir Hadžić, Vice President of the Social Democratic Party of BiH (SDP) and Minister of Transport and Communications of BiH.

According to his words, the latest events in BiH could lead to a new restructuring of the government at the state level, i.e., the removal of the Minister of Security of BiH Fahrudin Radončić.

Hadžić, in fact, sees in this the possibility of a deeper change and the formation of governments that will finally try to respect the justified demands of citizens, primarily at the cantonal level.

- We definitely support the SDA's request for Radončić's removal. We will see what epilogue this will have in the Parliament of BiH, but we are convinced that all this has shown that not only Radončić, but the entire police structure and the one at its head, cannot be a solution for BiH. Those who used the justified protests for vandalism and politicization, by setting fires they blunted the edge of the social rebellion, for them there is no more place, as far as we are concerned - says Hadžić.

Asked whether the latest positions of the SDP and SDA could be an introduction to a new coalition, Hadžić says that these statements were not agreed upon, but that obviously "the same thinking of these two parties goes in the direction of preserving the constitutional and legal order of BiH and the desire to try to reach an agreement on the articulated positions of citizens."

- If, as was planned, the Government of the Federation of BiH had also fallen, the entire system would have collapsed. We will do everything to include not only plenums, but also other associations, the academic community in the talks, and to legalize the proposals for dealing with crime and corruption, which we have been proposing for some time. To relax the atmosphere in BiH by dealing with crime and reviewing privatization, and here the judiciary is a key factor - states Hadžić.

According to his words, a proposal has been submitted to legally enable the holding of extraordinary or early elections in BiH, and the intention of the SDP is to speed things up so that citizens get authorities that will work for four years on fulfilling the legitimate demands of citizens.

- We can freely talk about the damage that has been caused to BiH after these events. A number of interested investors, and there are more domestic than foreign investors in BiH, are already thinking about whether to invest in a seismic area. We will know the extent of the damage only at the end of the year, and the small growth we had last year is definitely threatened - adds Hadžić.
