Hadžić: Hadžiomerović can defeat Izetbegović and Radončić

Bakir Hadžiomerović can defeat Bakir Izetbegović and Fahrudin Radončić if he runs for a member of the BiH Presidency, Damir Hadžić, vice-president of the SDP, stated today for the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

According to him, now that Hadžiomerović has received the support of the party leadership to be a candidate, it is superfluous to make any comments on that decision, but Hadžić believes that the journalist and former editor of Federal Television can win.

- We consider Izetbegović to be our main "target" and we believe that Hadžiomerović can defeat him. The left and the right in BiH have approximately an equal number of voters in BiH, and Hadžiomerović is a proven leftist, while all others are right-oriented – says Hadžić.

Speaking about why the SDP opted for a candidate without political experience who was a big surprise for the BiH public, Hadžić says that they believe Hadžiomerović can offer something new.

- We think he is a candidate who will be a breath of fresh air and something truly different. He is an answer to the increasingly frequent attempts at deception by some old candidates who claim to be a breath of fresh air. Hadžiomerović can be a politician who will help BiH to take the right course in a turbulent period – says Hadžić for NAP.
