Hadžibajrić on new political project: We offer people an alternative

On Saturday, September 30, the Founding Assembly of the Independent Herzegovinian List will be held at the Unitic center in Sarajevo. This is a new political project, one of the initiators of which is the Mayor of Stari Grad Municipality, Ibrahim Hadžibajrić, along with other independent mayors and councilors, reports Patria agency.

At the Assembly, delegates will elect the president and the Presidency of the party in order to carry out the necessary court registration.

According to Hadžibajrić, in the coming months, work will be done on the ground from Krajina to Goražde to familiarize people with the idea that the Independent Herzegovinian List will offer.

- We offer an alternative. If people recognize that, then we are on the right track and can prepare for the next elections – Hadžibajrić told Patria.

Besides Hadžibajrić, several independent mayors and councilors who won mandates with great support from citizens are also behind the idea of such a political concept.

We remind you that Ibrahim Hadžibajrić won his third mayoral term in the 2016 local elections with 10,000 votes. It is precisely this trust and the current political situation that prompted him to try to offer a different concept of political action.

- We must become the majority and openly oppose all forms of political deception and abuse of political power. The initiative we will launch will aim to initiate, lead, and realize new political action in BiH society in order to reconstruct and strengthen all forms of political power in accordance with the fundamental principles of the states included in the European Union – Hadžibajrić said earlier.

The Mayor of Stari Grad has good relations not only with mayors of municipalities in BiH but also with mayors and city mayors in the region of Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, and Macedonia.
