Hadžibajrić on candidacy: There is still time to make a decision

SARAJEVO, (Patria) – Mayor of Stari Grad Municipality Ibrahim Hadžibajrić pointed out at today's gathering with journalists that this municipality will not have major infrastructure projects in the election year. More than 94 million KM have been invested in various projects over the past 11 years.

“So as not to provoke the anger of citizens because it is an election year. If I have already done 77% of what I promised according to Istinomer's analysis, and we have completed the planned projects, that percentage is now at 83%. Even if I don't do anything else this year, let others catch up. I have raised the bar 20 centimeters above the world record for high jump. In my opinion, precisely in an election year, one should not overexert oneself. Summer is coming, it will be a general construction site, everyone will be racing to asphalt some street,” said Hadžibajrić.

The Mayor of Stari Grad said that there is still time for him to decide on a potential candidacy for another term.

“It is only my personal decision whether I will or not. Elections are won in the previous three years, not in the last year of the term, and citizens should learn to look at such things critically,” emphasized Hadžibajrić.
