Hadžibajrić: I don't have meetings with the leaders of Četvorka, if NBL bothers them, that's their business

SARAJevo, (Patria) - NBL President Ibrahim Hadžibajrić commented after the article by the News Agency Patria Četvorka becomes a troika, NBL dissatisfied with the relationship leaves the coalition

We are transmitting his statement in its entirety:

"I read on one of the portals that NBL is leaving Četvorka. I have never given such a statement. It is true that I have not had a meeting with Četvorka and the party leaders Nermin Nikšić, Peđa Kojović, and Elmedin Konaković for the last two, two and a half months, but that is not the reason for giving such statements.

About three or four months ago, when we were at my place for a meeting, I told them that since NBL no longer has representatives in the Cantonal Assembly, because we had two people – Fahrudin Pecikoza and Amra Junuzović-Kaljić who betrayed me, so to speak, and left – I said that I do not expect NBL to get any ministry. I told them that I am not asking for any ministry because it would not be moral on my part, but that I am not leaving Četvorka. They reacted then that we remain in this story considering the City Council and municipal levels. NBL has seven councilors in the Municipality of Stari Grad, two in Novo Sarajevo, one in Ilidža, and one in Vogošća.

This story is something new to me. If NBL bothers them, that's their business and I absolutely wouldn't want to get into that, but that is NOT MY STATEMENT. It is possible that this has something to do with the stories about the City Council and the mayor, and those are ridiculous things. We gave councilors in favor of Četvorka. I have always said that such mathematics simply must be done because if they already came out with the name and surname of such a man as Bogić Bogićević for mayor, I think one should not play and joke with such things.

As for our cooperation, I can neither say that we have it nor that we don't. For the last two, two and a half months, I have not participated in negotiations or agreements, but that again does not mean that this is the reason for NBL or Ibrahim Hadžibajrić to 'break up' Četvorka. I don't want unnecessary public attention to be paid to this because, I repeat, I did not make such a statement," Hadžibajrić stated.
