Hadžibajrić visited Makarska: Strengthen tourism ties with Sarajevo

At the invitation of Makarska Mayor Tonći Bilić, Stari Grad Municipality Mayor Ibrahim Hadžibajrić paid an official working visit to this twin city, Patria reports.

The most discussion during the meeting focused on improving cooperation and exchanging experiences between Stari Grad and Makarska. One of the conclusions reached during the meeting was that these two communities are linked by great interest and an influx of tourists from around the world, and therefore it is most important to direct cooperation in that direction.

It is known that a large number of Sarajevo citizens choose Makarska as their favorite summer destination, so it is important to nurture good relations between these two communities, it was concluded. The Stari Grad Municipality and the City of Makarska signed a twinning and cooperation agreement in May 2015.
