Traffic jams at border crossings Bosanska Gradiška, Gradina and Velika Kladuša

(Patria) - Increased vehicle traffic is reported at the exits from Bosnia and Herzegovina at the border crossings: Bosanska Gradiška, Gradina and Velika Kladuša, according to BIHAMK.

At other border crossings, delays are currently no longer than 30 minutes.

Increased vehicle frequency is also noted at ski resorts and local winter recreational areas. Drivers are advised of potential icy conditions and reminded that winter equipment is legally mandatory.

Due to renovation works, traffic will be suspended today from 11 AM to 4 PM on the Crna Rijeka-Mrkonjić Grad section. Vehicles will be rerouted to alternative routes during the suspension.

Half-hour traffic suspensions with 15-minute vehicle passage are currently in effect from 7 AM to 4 PM on the Jajce-Crna Rijeka main road near Zdaljevac, where renovation works are being carried out. After 4 PM, traffic at this location is proceeding in one lane, alternating.

On the Zenica-Nemila main road, through the Vranduk tunnel, traffic operates in both directions from 5 AM to 9 PM. Between 9 PM and 12:30 AM, vehicles pass alternately, while traffic through the tunnel is suspended from 12:30 AM to 5 AM. During the suspension, vehicles weighing up to 7.5 tons use the bypass through the settlement of Tetovo, and vehicles over 7.5 tons are rerouted to the alternative routes Doboj-Šićki Brod- Sarajevo and Žepče-Zavidovići-Olovo-Sarajevo.

Due to ongoing works, traffic is slower on the main roads: Srebrenik-Orašje (Ormanica tunnel), Sarajevo-Trnovo (Krupac), and Lanište-Ključ.

For safety reasons, traffic for trucks and buses has been suspended on the roads to and from the Brčko-Gunja border crossing bridge.
