Congestion at BiH border: Queues in both directions, patience required if you are travelling

(Patria) - Long queues of vehicles are present at several border crossings in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Queues are in both directions at the Doljani, Bosanski Brod and Bosanska Gradiška crossings.

- Vehicle queues are also at the border crossings of Zupci, Deleuša, Gabela Polje, Izačić and Velika Kladuša on the exit from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and at the border crossings of Ivanica, Bosanska Kostajnica, Bosanska Dubica and Donja Gradina on the entry into our country. At other border crossings, passenger vehicle traffic is occasionally increased, and waiting times are currently up to 30 minutes – state from BIHAMK.

- We highlight the main road Sarajevo – Mostar – Stolac, where longer vehicle queues occasionally form at the entrances to cities. We ask truck drivers to briefly pull out of traffic when they notice a long queue of vehicles behind them, in order to avoid risky overtaking – state from BIHAMK.

Due to rehabilitation works on the Gorica bridge, the left tube of the 1. mart tunnel on the A-1 Zenica-Sarajevo motorway section is closed for traffic, and vehicles travel in both directions through the right tunnel tube.

Slower traffic due to works during the day is on the main roads: Bihać-Kamenica, Stup-Blažuj, Kiseljak-Busovača, Travnik-Vitez, Ripač-Dubovsko, at the entrance to Bugojno (from the direction of Rostovo), Hadžići and Kladanj (from the direction of Olovo).

Due to road subsidence at the entrance to Vinac from the direction of Donji Vakuf (M-5/16 Donji Vakuf-Jajce), only one lane is operational, and the speed is limited to 20 km/h.

On the section of the regional road from the place of Ravno towards the main road Ljubinje-Trebinje (M-6), traffic is suspended and diverted to alternative routes.

Due to rehabilitation works, the bridge at the entrance to Nemila (connecting M-17 with R-473) is closed, and vehicles travel via the intersection in Topčić Polje.
