Guterres on Eastern Ghouta: This hell on earth must stop

Furthermore, he said that UN humanitarian agencies are ready to deliver humanitarian aid and evacuate the wounded from the area of Eastern Ghouta near Damascus, where about 400,000 people are located.

The situation was also commented on by the President of the UN Human Rights Council, Zeid Ra'ad al-Hussein, who pointed out that air strikes in the area of Eastern Ghouta continued this morning.
