Dense fog causing problems for drivers, visibility down to 30 meters

(Patria) - Reduced visibility due to fog, which is very dense in places (visibility down to 30 meters), is causing the biggest problems for drivers this morning. We highlight sections along the rivers Bosna, Sava, Vrbas, Lašva and Spreča, as well as the wider Sarajevo and Kiseljak areas, and the main roads Bugojno-Gornji Vakuf/Uskoplje and Sanski Most-Vrhpolje. We particularly highlight the A-1 Sarajevo-Zenica highway section, where we advise significantly slower driving.

On sections with fog, the road surface is wet, and due to low temperatures in the morning hours, ice formation is also possible. We advise more cautious driving and remind drivers that winter equipment is legally mandatory.

We also draw attention to frequent landslides, and highlight the roads: Bihać-Srbljani-Bosanska Krupa, Turbe-Karanovac, Sarajevo-Foča, Crna Rijeka-Jajce-Donji Vakuf and Bugojno-Kupres, as well as the Rostovo pass (Novi Travnik-Bugojno) and Makljen pass (Prozor-Gornji Vakuf/Uskoplje).

Due to ongoing works, we highlight the main roads: Jablanica-Mostar (Begića i Begovića bridge), Čevljanovići-Nišići and Ključ-Sanski Most (at the entrance to Sanski Most, near the Water Park). At the work sites, traffic is alternating, one lane.

There are no long delays for passenger vehicles at border crossings.
