Dense fog reduces visibility in several cities, drive carefully

(Patria) - Dense fog this morning is reducing visibility in the wider areas of Sarajevo, Tuzla, Bihać, Lukavac, Gračanica and Bijeljina, as well as on the roads Konjic-Jablanica and Sanski Most-Vrhpolje, and in places on the roads along the Sava, Bosna, Vrbas and Lašva rivers. Due to low temperatures, we draw attention to icy conditions, especially on sections in higher elevations where there is also occasional packed snow, and in lower elevations on bridges, viaducts and tunnel approaches. We appeal to all drivers to be careful and to comply with all traffic regulations to ensure the safest possible journeys. Do not set off without appropriate winter equipment.

Traffic is difficult on the Kotor Varoš-Teslić (Borja) highway due to a narrowed roadway.

Traffic for heavy goods vehicles is still prohibited on the roads:

- Bosanski Petrovac-Drvar-Bosansko Grahovo,
- Kotor Varoš-Teslić (Borja)
- Glamoč-Mlinište,
- Drvar-Glamoč and
- Banja Luka-Mrkonjić Grad (Manjača).

Traffic is suspended for all vehicle categories on the Karanovac-Kneževo road, while traffic on the Kotor Varoš-Kneževo road is very difficult.

Due to the New Year's celebration, the transport of explosives in Bosnia and Herzegovina is prohibited today (December 31) from 12:00 PM until midnight on January 2, 2025.

There are no long delays for passenger vehicles at border crossings.
