Sulejman Tihić's passing is an irreplaceable loss for BiH

Representatives of the Party of Democratic Action from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina visited Bosanski Šamac on Friday, October 3, 2014, and after the Friday prayer, laid flowers at the grave of Sulejman Tihić, the president of the Party of Democratic Action, reports the BiH news agency Patria. 

The gathering in Bosanski Šamac was organized on the occasion of the seventh day since Tihić's death, and during the day, Yasin and tewhid will be recited for his soul:

- The death of Sulejman Tihić is an irreplaceable loss for all of us, a loss for Bosnia and Herzegovina, but we in the SDA are determined to continue following the course of tolerance and perseverance for a whole and unified, internationally recognized state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and we insist on the strength of Bosniak unity.

Our president's wish to be buried in his native Bosanski Šamac is a message to all of us that we cannot and must not give up on the process of return and the integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, said Mr. Ramiz Salkić, Vice-President of the National Assembly of RS. He called on all refugees and displaced persons in Bosnia and Herzegovina to return to their homes:

- Following this message from President Tihić, we will motivate all those who wish to return to the places from which they fled or were expelled in the nineties, said Mr. Salkić.

Officials, members, and sympathizers of the SDA from Eastern Herzegovina, Eastern Bosnia, Northern Bosnia, Central Podrinje, Bosanska Krajina, and Central Bosnia traveled to Bosanski Šamac on Friday.
