GSS Sarajevo rescued three women lost on the mountain

(Patria) - The Mountain Rescue Service (GSS) - Sarajevo Station received a call and information in the afternoon that three middle-aged women were lost in the area of Mount Sarajevski Ozren.

According to this information, the lost individuals could not continue moving as one of them was in poor health.

The duty operator at the Operational Centre of the Civil Protection Service of the Centar municipality was immediately informed, and rescuers from GSS - Sarajevo Station, members of the Centar municipality unit, were dispatched to the field to search for the distressed individuals.

Given that the distressed individuals were unable to send their exact location, the search proceeded in multiple directions, and with the active assistance of hunters from LD "Sarajevo", who happened to be in the area, the distressed individuals were eventually found, cared for, and evacuated.
