The Spanish Ministry of Defence reports that a Greek multi-purpose F-16 fighter jet veered into a hangar at a military base in the southeast while participating in NATO maneuvers, reports Patria.
The Ministry has not confirmed media reports that two people were killed and more than 10 injured in the accident, AP reports.
Local media write that the jet exploded at the Los Llanos air base in Albacete after colliding with parked aircraft, and that the pilot and co-pilot died.
