Gratz sends a message that will upset Mandić: I will come to work at 7:30, not 11

(Patria) - Democratic Front (DF) candidate for Mayor of Centar, Dennis Gratz, sent an intriguing message on social media, stating that if elected mayor, he will come to work on time, at 7:30, not at 11 o'clock.

Although he did not mention the current mayor and his opponent Srđan Mandić (Our Party), Gratz's post is clearly an allusion to the fact that municipal councilors, who were in coalition with Mandić for the first two years of his term, discovered that the current mayor came to work at 11 o'clock.

When the procedure for Mandić's recall was initiated, People and Justice councilor in Centar, Jasmin Ademović, stated that the budget execution was at a historically low level, partly because the head of the municipality was not doing his job.

"We know he comes to work at 11 o'clock, very often hungover," Ademović said at the time about the Mayor of Centar.

Gratz has also emphasized in his campaign so far that one of the main sources of stagnation in Centar is the inaction of the current authorities.

It is very significant that the announcement by the Democratic Front candidate comes after he held a meeting with the municipal organization of People and Justice, which is headed by Ademović.

In interviews he gave before the start of the campaign, Mandić tried to convince the public that a larger part of People and Justice in Centar was on his side, but that impression has been undermined by recent events.

In the first days of the campaign, the race for the mayor of the Centar municipality is attracting the most attention, and its outcome will have significant political implications.
