Power restored to GRAS: Trams and trolleybuses operational

Elektroprivreda BiH has reconnected electricity to the company GRAS, and tram and trolleybus traffic in the capital has returned to normal, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Earlier today, Elektroprivreda BiH began cutting off electricity in facilities belonging to GRAS, and in the afternoon hours, power was also cut to the tram and trolleybus network, leaving Sarajevo residents without these two main forms of public transport in the city.

Electricity was cut off due to GRAS's large debt to Elektroprivreda and failure to comply with the agreement on deferred payment. Details of the renewed agreement on settling GRAS's debt to Elektroprivreda BiH will be announced after 4 p.m.

Trams and trolleybuses were not operating on Thursday from 3 p.m.
