(Patria) - The Cantonal Public Utility Company (KJKP) GRAS announced that, in accordance with the Decision of the Ministry of Transport of the Sarajevo Canton, there will be a temporary traffic suspension today from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM in Sarajevo.
The reason is the holding of the international sports event "Sarajevo Run Fest 2025", i.e., three races including the Sarajevo Half Marathon, organized by NGO Maraton.
Traffic will be suspended in the following streets: Zmaja od Bosne, Bulevar Meše Selimovića, Malta, Azize Šaćirbegović, Vilsonovo šetalište, Ložionička, Topal Osman Paše, Bulevar Ivice Osima, Grbavička, Zagrebačka, Vrbanja.
The operation of public city passenger transport will also be altered. Tram traffic will operate on the Ilidža-Čengić Vila route, while trolleybus lines 101 Otoka-Trg Austrije, 102 Otoka-Jezero, 103 Dobrinja-Trg Austrije, and 107 Dobrinja-Jezero will, during the suspension on Bulevar Ivice Osima, Grbavička, and Zagrebačka streets, operate on the Dobrinja-Otoka route.
Line 31e Vijećnica-Dobrinja will operate on the Dobrinja-Čengić Vila route, line 18 Drvenija-Pofalići will operate from the Railway Station instead of Drvenija, and Line 23a Željeznička stanica-Reljevo dom-Dobroševići will partially change its route and operate along Put života street.
Traffic regulation on the section of complete traffic suspension and at intersections where traffic is directed to alternative routes will be carried out by members of the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton in stages depending on the speed of the race participants, GRAS announced.
