
(Patria) - The City Council of Sarajevo, at its 52nd session held today, chaired by Jasmin Ademović, President of the City Council, considered the mayor's request for reconsideration of the Decision on awarding the collective "April 6th Award of the City of Sarajevo" in 2025 to the Medical Association BIMA in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Following an introductory statement by Mayor Predrag Puharić, who explained the reasons for submitting the request for reconsideration of the decision, and a broad discussion among city council members, the Decision to repeal the Decision on awarding the collective "April 6th Award of the City of Sarajevo" in 2025 was not adopted at today's session.
Therefore, the City Council stood by its Decision to award the collective "April 6th Award of the City of Sarajevo" in 2025 to the Medical Association BIMA in Bosnia and Herzegovina, for significant achievements and substantial work results in the field of healthcare and social protection that BIMA activists have been achieving for many years.
At the end of the session, the initiative of city council member Ratko Orozović to consider the possibility of erecting a bust of Branislav Nušić, one of the founders and first directors of the National Theatre Sarajevo, was adopted.
