City Council to Elect Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Sarajevo on November 26

(Patria) - The Collegium of the City Council of the City of Sarajevo, at today's session, concluded that the next session of the City Council will be held on Tuesday, 11/26/2024.

The session will be scheduled in order to ensure the continuity of the function of the City of Sarajevo bodies as soon as possible, until the end of the current term of the City Council of the City of Sarajevo.

The session will elect the mayor and deputy mayor, given that, in addition to former mayor Benjamina Karić, the mandate of the deputy mayor of the City of Sarajevo for Samir Avdić has also expired in accordance with the Law, and considering that more than a month will pass until the implementation of the results of the 2024 Local Elections in the bodies of the City of Sarajevo.
