HDZ BiH City Board Mostar is not for dividing the City

The HDZ BiH City Board Mostar is not participating in any talks leading to the division of the city, nor will it participate in or support the narrative of two municipalities, nor any further divisions, nor has it agreed on "city zones" with the SDA, and certainly will not propose solutions that contradict the Constitution of the Federation of BiH, it was announced from this party, reports Patria.

HDZ BiH states that they have not reached any agreement with the SDA on two "city zones". For HDZ BiH, solutions should be sought within the framework of implementing the decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH, which, they state, found great discrimination in the value of a vote in the electoral process for the City Council of Mostar.

- We must propose a solution that first fulfills the decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH, is not contrary to the Constitution of the Federation of BiH, and uses the relevant provisions of the current Election Law of BiH.

Therefore, we do not propose dominance, we respect the Constitutional Court of BiH, the Constitution of the Federation of BiH, the Election Law of BiH, the constituent peoples and other citizens, and we do not propose divisions and further sources of conflict. 

No proposal was agreed upon with the SDA that would regulate Mostar through some law adopted in the Parliament of the Federation of BiH or the Assembly of HNK, which essentially divides the City. That is not true. Such proposals are contrary to the Constitution of the Federation of BiH – it is stated in the announcement of HDZ BiH, reports Patria.
