City Administration Launches Activities for Charging Entry to the City Hall

The City Administration of the City of Sarajevo has launched activities to create conditions for charging tickets for visiting the City Hall, and we will inform you in due time after all necessary preparations are completed, they said from the City Administration for the Bosnian news agency Patria.

We remind you, the Sarajevo City Hall was ceremonially opened on May 9, and already on the 10th it was closed to complete the final works. At the end of June, more precisely on June 28, a concert by the Vienna Philharmonic was held, and from July 17, entry to the City Hall was allowed for citizens and tourists from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Although it was supposed to be like this until the end of July, and from August to start charging for entry, Mayor Ivo Komšić announced on July 31 that he is giving citizens another 15 days of free entry.

So far, about 20,000 people have visited the City Hall, and it is particularly interesting to tourists due to its architecture and the location where it was built. An increased number of visits was recorded during the 20th Sarajevo Film Festival, and it is one of the first places that tourist guides take visitors to the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is important to note that all visitors are allowed entry into the hall from where only a small part of the City Hall's beauty can be seen.
