Mayor Halitović: We are shocked, I call on the citizens of Bosanska Krupa to remain calm

(Patria) - The Mayor of Bosanska Krupa, Armin Halitović, is shocked by the attack on the police station in this city, in which one police officer was killed and another injured.

"Whatever I say is both little and a lot. We are a peaceful, tolerant city, and we cannot believe that what happened has happened in Bosanska Krupa.

I hope that the authorities will conduct all possible investigations to find the real reason and that the judiciary and competent institutions will do their part," Halitović told BHRT.

He also sent a message to the citizens, urging them to remain calm and not to succumb to rumors.

"These are abnormal circumstances, but we must try to return to normal life," said Halitović.

He expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased police officer.
