Mayor Skaka visited on-duty services on New Year's Eve

(Patria) - In anticipation of New Year's Eve, the Mayor of Sarajevo, Abdulah Skaka, traditionally visited city services responsible for the safety and health of citizens in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He visited the Professional Firefighting Brigade of the Sarajevo Canton, the medical and paramedical staff of the Sarajevo Canton Emergency Medical Service Institute, and the First Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton.

"They dedicate their time, skills, and resources to all citizens of Sarajevo every day. The City of Sarajevo supports, recognizes, and celebrates their dedication. They have shown that their roles in society are irreplaceable. Stronger and more resilient than the greatest challenges. Previous outdoor New Year's Eve celebrations passed very peacefully and without emergency interventions. I sincerely hope that the calendar ahead of us will be the same," emphasized Mayor Skaka.
