Mayor Komšić returns to Sarajevo, his son out of danger

The health condition of Julijan Komšić, the elder son of Sarajevo Mayor Ivo Komšić, is improving day by day, and he is out of danger, unlike on Sunday, March 1, when he was urgently transferred from Sarajevo to Ljubljana, reports the Patria news agency.

Mayor Komšić returned to Sarajevo on Sunday evening, after spending the past few days by his son's side, when Julijan's health condition was extremely serious. Julijan was also accompanied by his mother and wife. Thanks to the efforts of Ljubljana doctors, Julijan's life was saved, and he could soon return home.

A helicopter for emergency medical evacuation of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (MEDEVAC), at the request of the management of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS), transported the critically ill Julijan from Sarajevo to the Clinical Center Ljubljana.

Julijan was treated at the Infectious Diseases Clinic of KCUS, and then at two other clinics, but Sarajevo doctors were unable to determine an accurate diagnosis. He was urgently transferred to Ljubljana, where he is now recovering.
