Mayor Abdulah Skaka visited Srebrenica

SREBRENICA, (Patria) - Mayor of Sarajevo Abdulah Skaka and Mayor of Centar Municipality Nedžad Ajnadžić, with their associates, visited Srebrenica today.

- This is a continuation of cooperation where the capital city of our country supports people returning to their homes. We believe we must do even more and act as the capital of the state. Today, we are donating equipment for the elementary school in Osat and sending a message that we support life in Srebrenica. Life has triumphed despite everything - said Skaka, emphasizing that it is the capital city's obligation to help returnees.

Deputy Mayor of Srebrenica Municipality Alivuković pointed out that the support coming from Sarajevo means a lot to Srebrenica.

Mayor Skaka and Mayor Ajnadžić paid tribute to the victims of the genocide and laid flowers at the memorial monument in the complex of the Memorial Center in Potočari.

As part of their visit to Srebrenica, Skaka and Ajnadžić visited the regional school in Osat, where the school playground was reconstructed and IT equipment and school supplies were donated to the students of this school, attended by 18 returnee children.
