(Patria) - Mayor of Sarajevo Benjamina Karić visited mr. Idriz-ef. Budimlić, imam of the Bosniak Islamic Center in New York, who two weeks ago for no reason was brutally attacked in the premises of the mosque.
"I expressed my support to Imam Budimlić and his family, with wishes for a speedy recovery. Our people living in New York welcomed me as their own this time too, they opened their hearts to me, introduced me to their families, and made me feel at home thousands of miles away.
Thank you for your endless support and see you in Sarajevo!", wrote Karić.
