Mayor Karić and Mayor Hadžibajrić visited the teams of the city's on-call services

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Sarajevo Mayor Benjamina Karić, for whom this is the first New Year since she became mayor in April, along with the Mayor of Stari Grad, Ibrahim Hadžibajrić, visited the city's on-call services that will spend the night working and be at the service of our citizens.

"Tonight we visited the on-call services that ensure the safety, protection, and health of our citizens and guests. Thank you, not only for this holiday night that you are spending working, but for all 365 days of the year. I wish you happy New Year holidays with, hopefully, as few interventions as possible. I am sure that our cooperation in 2022 will be even better," said the mayor.

"These services make a huge contribution to ensuring the safety and health of our citizens, and with this visit, we want to thank them for everything they do. In addition to the regular visits, I wanted Mayor Benjamina Karić and I to visit our Logavina Police Station and the Vratnik Voluntary Fire Department tonight and wish them a happy New Year. Their contribution to creating a safe environment for citizens and providing medical assistance is immense, and we are all grateful to them for it. Everyone is up to the task tonight and assures citizens that they can be calm and safe on New Year's Eve," said Hadžibajrić.

They also visited the Emergency Room, PVB Sarajevo, Civil Protection, and the Police Station.
