Citizens in RS no longer have to go to counters, they will receive information about personal documents on their mobile phones

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska has implemented an SMS service that allows citizens to directly check the status of personal documents, vehicle registration, and view issued fines, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP).

By sending an SMS with their unique personal identification number (JMB) to the number 091 110 122 , citizens can obtain information on the status of a submitted request for issuing an ID card, driver's license, and travel document, information on the expiry of personal documents, insight into motor vehicle registration and information on the expiry of registration validity, as well as insight into issued fines, payments, and information on the expiration of imposed penalty points, reports NAP.
