Stolac citizens organized a protest march due to an attack on young men

(Patria) - An informal gathering of citizens and a march under the slogan "Stolac Against Violence" was held in Stolac today, prompted by an attack on four young men that occurred last weekend in Masline near Stolac.

The gathered citizens called on the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor's Office of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton to urgently investigate this case and punish the perpetrators, Fena reports.

The attack on the young men happened on the night between Sunday and Monday, around midnight, when a group of about ten people in three cars intercepted a car driven by M.A. (born 2004) from Poplašići, Stolac, which carried three other passengers.

According to police reports, the attackers hit the car owned by M.A. with baseball bats and then beat the passengers of the vehicle with the bats. Medical assistance was provided to them at the "Dr. Safet Mujić" Cantonal Hospital and the Center for Urgent Medicine of the University Clinical Hospital Mostar.
