Citizens of Kalesija took to the streets: 'Stop killing our children'

(Patria) - In Kalesija today around 4 PM, organized by the Association "The Strength of an Independent Woman", a peaceful gathering and march titled "A Silent Walk for All Inelas" was held.

Citizens gathered to express their protest against the brutal double murder of their fellow citizen Inela Selimović and her 13-year-old son.



"State, prevent and stop all forms of violence against women and girls", "Justice is late, women are dying", "You are never alone", "We want laws that protect, not obituaries that cry", "Stop killing our children"...

These are just some of the banners carried by the citizens of Kalesija, who gathered in significant numbers despite the rain.

As a reminder, her husband Emir Selimović, with whom she was in the process of divorcing, is suspected of murdering Inela Selimović and her child.

After the murder, Emir Selimović fled to the vicinity of Prnjavor, where an intensive search for him is still ongoing, writes Faktor.ba. It is suspected that he committed suicide in the meantime.
