Citizens and Platform for Progress call things by their name: Enough!

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - A protest march organized by the Platform for Progress is underway.

"What we want to do is to mobilize citizens. Without civic activism, there are no changes in the country. Politicians have gotten used to doing whatever they want in elections, which are not always free. The only way to achieve change is through civic activism, and I hope citizens will see that they have power," said Hadžikadić at the beginning of the protest.

According to him, the only demand fulfilled from last year's protests were local elections, while we are regressing in terms of corruption.

Hadžikadić denied that there are any agreements on alleged political unifications and stated that PzP will go to the elections as a party.

Addressing those present, Hadžikadić thanked everyone who came to multiple locations today.

 

 

The gathering is led by the leader of the Platform, Mirsad Hadžikadić, and everything is happening under the slogan "Let's call things by their name." Citizens from many cities in BiH came to the protests.

Several citizens also gathered in Geneva, under the same slogan, to convey that they want to know if the authorities of BiH count on the diaspora.

"We want to be active and act in all spheres of society, because we are Bosnians and Herzegovinians," said those gathered in Geneva.

Citizens also gathered in Brussels.

"Today is the cry of citizens who are tired of watching poverty while others get rich," is one of the messages, along with a call to the international community to return processes to institutions instead of negotiating with leaders.

Citizens from all locations chanted that they want a united and independent democratic Bosnia and Herzegovina, and citizens in the diaspora sent this message in foreign languages as well.
