City of Sarajevo to procure two ventilators for the University Clinical Center Sarajevo

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The City Council of Sarajevo, at its 36th session held today, chaired by Igor Gavrić, President of the City Council, made decisions to dismiss a member and appoint a member of the City Council's Commission for Elections and Appointments.

City councilors adopted the Decision to award the recognition "Honorary Citizen of the City of Sarajevo" to Prof. Dr. Christian Schwarz-Schilling. Nerma Bućan, a citizen of Sarajevo, with the support of the Our Party City Councilors' Club, submitted a proposal for awarding the recognition to Prof. Dr. Christian Schwarz-Schilling to the Commission for Elections and Appointments of the City Council, which established the proposal for the decision and sent it to the City Council for consideration and adoption.

At today's session, the City Council, upon the proposal of city councilor Srđan Srdić, adopted the Decision on awarding the recognition "Plaque of the City of Sarajevo" to Husref Musemić, and upon the proposal of the Mayor of Sarajevo, Abdulah Skaka, also adopted the Decision on awarding the recognition "Plaque of the City of Sarajevo" to Branislava Rakonjac.

In the continuation of the session, unanimously, decisions were adopted on co-financing cultural events of special interest to the City of Sarajevo, the 36th International Festival Sarajevo "Sarajevo Winter 2020", and the 26th Sarajevo Music Evenings SVEM 2020.

Then, the Decision on amendments and additions to the Decision on the organization and scope of the administrative bodies of the City of Sarajevo was adopted in order to harmonize the internal organization with the provisions of the Rulebook on criteria for establishing internal audit units in the public sector in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. City councilors adopted the Decision on the adoption of the Regulatory Plan "Švrakino Selo – Annex" with the Decision on the implementation of the Regulatory Plan "Švrakino Selo – Annex", which will, among other things, create conditions for new construction, integration of the existing building stock, with the possibility of reconstruction and replacement of the building stock, equipping the area with adequate traffic and utility infrastructure, respecting the existing parcelation and ownership relations.

Then, the Report on the activities of the City of Sarajevo in the field of international cooperation in 2019 was considered and adopted. As a result of the implementation of international cooperation goals, in the reporting period, in addition to promoting Sarajevo, concrete benefits were achieved, or concrete activities are underway.

The Information on the condition of bridges in the city of Sarajevo with a proposal for measures, and the Information on the procedure for the termination of the company "EYOF 2019" Ltd. were acknowledged.

At today's session, certain councilor questions were asked and certain initiatives were launched. Thus, among others, the initiative of the SDA City Councilors' Club in the City Council, sent to the Mayor, to procure two respiratory machines for the needs of the University Clinical Center Sarajevo, was supported.
