City of Sarajevo financially supported FK Željezničar

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Mayor of Sarajevo Abdulah Skaka and director of FK „Željezničar“ Mirsad Šiljak signed an agreement on financial support for the club that has done so much for the promotion of our city and the state of BiH.

„The City of Sarajevo continues to support prominent sports collectives, with a special emphasis on building sports infrastructure and creating conditions for the development of huge potentials and achieving the best possible results. I believe that this financial support for our „Željezničar“, a club with a bright past and exceptional sports results, will be of great benefit“, emphasized Skaka.

The Mayor reminded that the City of Sarajevo last year supported the construction of a new grass field at the Grbavica Stadium with 200,000 KM, which created conditions for playing international club matches and matches of the BiH national football team.

Director Šiljak thanked the City of Sarajevo and Mayor Skaka for their support.
