Grabar-Kitarović during inauguration: I see BiH as a state of three equal constituent peoples

New Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović vowed during her inaugural speech on Sunday in Zagreb to help Bosnia and Herzegovina strengthen its statehood, reports BH news agency Patria.

During her inaugural speech, Grabar-Kitarović called on Croatian citizens to unity and national togetherness. However, she did not forget her neighbors, speaking first about Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Croats living in BiH.

- One of the most important foreign policy goals is the position and protection of the Croatian people in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I see Bosnia and Herzegovina as a state of three equal constituent peoples: Bosniaks, Serbs, and Croats - said the newly elected Croatian president, reported Index.hr. The president stated that she wants to help Bosnia and Herzegovina strengthen its statehood based on the full equality of the three constituent peoples, and she added that she will take special care of this, reports Patria.
